The Team
Our staff is a team of highly dedicated, experienced software engineers whose areas of expertise cover all disciplines of software development. In addition to our in-house development team, our Engineering and IT placement staff are recruited and placed at a wide range of technology based companies for either long or short term assignments. Lance founded Conquest Consulting in the 1990’s. Lance is a senior level software engineer with over 30 years of experience in project management and software development. Lance’s expertise includes .NET application development, real-time embedded systems, PC application development, Internet-based solutions, and mobile/wireless development.
Lance is a highly experienced and qualified software engineer and project manager with over 30 years of experience. He has a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut and taught as an adjunct professor of computer science and electrical engineering at the university for over 10 years.
Prior to founding Conquest Consulting, Lance was employed as a senior-level software engineer and project manager by several leading technology companies, including The Torrington Company, Timex Corporation, DiaSys Corporation, Chandler Evans Corporation, and SatCon Technology Corporation. In these roles, he led teams in the development of several award-winning products and successfully managed complex projects.
Lance is also passionate about education and community service. He is a certified project manager (PMP) and a member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and CTC (Connecticut Technology Council). He volunteers his time as a judge at the annual Connecticut Invention Convention, a state-wide program held to provide the children of Connecticut with meaningful opportunities to develop and encourage creative thinking and invention.
